Get a grip on your writing project. Sometimes it’s not about you, it’s about this piece of work in front of you. You’ve done your best, now you need a second pair of eyes to catch anything you’ve missed. Or perhaps you’ve gotten stuck along the way and need an editor’s feedback to steer the work in the right direction. In editing, the focus is on the work itself, not the writer. Different kinds of writing projects require different editorial approaches.
Get a grip on your writing life. Whether you want to supercharge your professional writing or your academic writing, we can help you understand and overcome writers’ block. Our goal is to help you think and act, to live and work, like a successful author. Part of this is a sort of life-coaching: building good mental and practical habits that lead to a successful writing life. Improve your self-talk. Maximize your human capacity. Wisely shepherd your time, space, emotions and physical & mental energy.
A seminar is a great way to funnel tons of insight into your brain all at once. Our office on Vermont Avenue is a great venue for seminars: our 80" projection screen, comfortable chairs, central AC/heating, refreshments corner, and an 18-foot-long whiteboard accommodate groups as large as twenty and as small as two persons. We can also take any of our seminars to your venue, whether it's your own living room, an on-campus study room, or a corner table at a quiet cafe.
