Since the publication of his companion journal for his debut book 1000 Hours: Questions that Changed My Tomorrows, Anto Boghokian has been hoping, planning, and preparing a monthly gathering for people who have profited from that book, people who are looking for a supportive tribe of creatives. Last week, that monthly gathering became a reality.
One week ago today, Anto hosted the kick-off event, an open-mic performance night for artists, writers, and musicians. He describes it this way:
Streaming Hope is an open mic event that gives artists the space to grow within the safety of a positive and encouraging community.
I wasn't able to attend this month, but I hope to do so in the future. I definitely missed out! See for yourself:
If you want to know more, or don't want to miss any more of these monthly mixers of raw honesty and positivity, either follow him on Facebook or on Instagram, or just email him at StreamingHopeLA@gmail.com.
